The primary services of Lufthansa Technik Component Services SFO include MRO support and a local AOG-Desk staffed with high qualified AOG Coordinators, Customer Service Managers and Contract Managers. The team provides a complete material operation that includes planning, logistic coordination and the provisioning of Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), consumable and expendable material. A state-of-the-art warehousing system assures a 24-hour availability of aircraft components. 

Expertise for integrated material solutions and 24/7 support

As core business, the team in San Francisco serves as an integrated part of Lufthansa Technik's Total Material Operations (TMO®) customer, Virgin America. In this agreement, Virgin America outsources all material and logistics functions and Lufthansa Technik takes this role within Virgin America Technical Operations by providing dedicated maintenance, repair and overhaul services for rotables and covering the entire material supply including consumables. Integrated logistics operation and material management guarantees material availability at all places of demand and comprehensive 24/7 support.
